Not at all — that's the whole point. It's done for you. You bring your business knowledge to a short interview; I handle every technical step, from install to connecting your tools. The only thing you leave with is knowing how to use it.

It runs on your own laptop — not a shared cloud app I control. Your customers' details, your numbers, your passwords and logins all stay with you. You own the setup outright; I just build it. If you'd like it backed up to the cloud, we set that up for you free of charge.

Nothing heavy or hidden. At its core, your system is a folder of sophisticated instruction files — in plain text — that live on your own laptop. They start as “seed” files: a starting playbook for how your business works. From there they grow — adapting and updating themselves as the system learns more about your business, your data and your customers, so it becomes more tailored to you the longer you use it. The files run through a free desktop app — either the Claude app or the Codex app, whichever you prefer — which does the actual thinking and connects to your tools. Both apps are free to install. This is the real difference from traditional software: ordinary software is fixed, does the same thing for everyone, and only changes when a developer ships an update — and you have to work the way it works. This works the other way around. It shapes itself around your business and keeps getting better the more it knows. The playbook is yours, on your machine, and always evolving.

A single fixed price, quoted upfront on the discovery call — no surprises. There's no monthly subscription for the system itself; the only thing you pay on top is your laptop and an AI subscription of your choice. And it pays for itself fast: with the hours it saves you each week, most businesses see it cover its cost within three to four weeks.

The system install itself is a one-off fee — there's no ongoing subscription to us for it. The only continuing costs are ones you control: any subscriptions you already pay for the tools it connects to, and your own AI subscription — either Claude or Codex (OpenAI). Those stay in your name and under your control, and there's nothing extra payable to us to keep the system running.

The ones you already use — email, calendar, CRM, invoicing, and even the spreadsheets you keep — with connectors for hundreds more. We wire up the ones that matter to your week first; you can add others later. During the install we can also suggest extra tools that would strengthen your setup.

It starts with a 30-minute discovery call. Once you're happy to proceed and we've signed a simple agreement, we set up a guided session a couple of days later where I work with you — in person or virtually — to install it. For 95% of customers, the whole thing is up and running in a single day. No multi-week project, no course to finish.

Yes. The system lives on your laptop, but you don't have to be sat at it to stay in the loop. It can reach you on your phone — texting or messaging you when something needs your attention or your okay, just like in the examples above. The Claude and Codex apps also have mobile companions, so you can check in and respond on the go.

Only the things you're happy for it to handle on its own. For anything that goes out under your name — sending invoices, replying to a customer, reaching out to leads — you stay in the loop: it prepares everything as a draft and nothing sends without your okay. You decide where the line sits.

Very likely. The examples are just a taste — what's possible is really down to your imagination and the data available to automate it. If the information lives in a tool we can connect to, it can usually be automated. In fact, the best workflows are almost always the ones unique to your business — I've seen some incredible, genuinely dynamic setups that no off-the-shelf tool would ever think of. We scope exactly what's feasible for you on the discovery call.

Yes, you can — though it usually needs some additional setup, which I'll scope with you in a separate session. AI in a business tends to grow in three phases: augmentation (your personal AI install — where you'd start), automation (workflows running right across your whole team), and transformation (AI as the base layer your business runs on). We help businesses through all three — and the company-wide workflows in phase two are the ones that add the most impact by far. It's a perfectly natural next step, and something we're glad to help with.

You leave the handover with a few high-value workflows already running on your real work and a simple playbook on how to run it, so it's useful from day one. Occasionally a data connector can drop out — if that happens, we'll happily jump on another call to fix it and put something in place so it doesn't drop out again. It's normally quite rare. And the system keeps getting better the more you use it and feed it. If you want a hand later, ongoing tune-ups are available — but there's no lock-in.
